Klaxon — Live Earthquake, Tsunami, Volcano & Wildfire Map
Klaxon is a free real-time map of natural hazards worldwide. It shows magnitude 3.5+ earthquakes from the public USGS feed over the last hour, day or week, with tectonic plate boundaries overlaid; every earthquake USGS flagged for tsunami warning over the past 12 months; volcanoes in continuing eruption from NASA EONET; and active wildfire detections from NASA FIRMS satellites.
Event details include USGS PAGER alert level, Modified Mercalli Intensity (MMI), felt-report counts and tsunami flags where USGS provides them. For earthquakes near Japan, Klaxon links to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), since Japanese users typically reference shindo intensity rather than magnitude.
Klaxon has no ads, no visitor tracking and requires no account. The interface is available in English, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. It is an independent project built by Asher Malone in Sydney.
