The map stays free. Pro is for people who want Klaxon to notice a matching event instead of having to check.
What you would get
Watch zones: save a place, set a threshold — magnitude 5 and above within 200 km, say — and receive a notification when a matching event appears in the USGS or NASA feeds. That is the whole product idea. Nothing else on Klaxon moves behind a payment, and none of it will carry advertising.
None of this exists yet. The list is so we know whether enough people want it to justify building the server it needs, and so we can write to you once it does.
You're on the list. We'll write when watch zones are ready — not before, and not about anything else.
Joining this list does not sign you up for life-safety alerts. When watch zones ship, a Klaxon notification will mean a matching event appeared in a public scientific feed, usually minutes after the fact. It is not a warning, it is not an instruction to evacuate, and it must never be the thing you depend on to stay safe. Follow your national or local emergency authority for that.
