These terms apply to your use of klaxon.live ("Klaxon"), run by Asher Malone in Sydney, Australia. By using Klaxon you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

Klaxon is a free information service. It is not an official warning service: please read the disclaimer. Any part of Klaxon may be changed, paused or withdrawn at any time, without notice.

Acceptable use

You are welcome to use Klaxon to follow events, and to share links to it. When using it, you must not:

• disrupt or overload the site or its database, including by sending automated requests faster than normal browsing would;
• try to reach parts of the site or its database that are not public, or get around any limit placed on them;
• present information from Klaxon as an official warning, or remove the credits that sources require;
• use Klaxon for anything unlawful, or to mislead anyone.

If you want to reuse Klaxon's data in bulk, please go to the original sources listed on Data sources and attribution and follow their licences.

Content and licences

The data Klaxon shows belongs to its publishers and is used under the licences listed on Data sources and attribution. Headlines belong to their publishers. If you reuse any of this content, follow its licence. Klaxon's own text, design and code may not be reused without permission.

No warranty

Klaxon is provided "as is" and "as available". Information on it may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and there is no guarantee that the site will be available at any given time or free of faults.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klaxon and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, Klaxon, including indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Links to other sites

Klaxon links to news outlets, official agencies and other websites. Klaxon does not control them and is not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use Klaxon after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Translations

These terms are available in English, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails.
